Presentation Project

Student giving a classroom presentation on renewable energy with classmates and teacher listening
  1. In your Presentation Project, what worked?
    • I did well with my slide narration, I was clear and well-spoken. I had a lot of good information for those who are actually considering being a truck driver. Everything flowed nicely and was cohesive in terms of color scheme and layout.
  2. What didn’t work?
    • Some slides I had too many words, I should have kept it less busy. For example, add bullet points, and then explain it more in my narration so my audience stayed engaged.
  3. What did you learn from looking at presentations of your classmates.
    • I saw one classmate add in statistics, diagrams, and brightly colored text on the stuff she wanted you to focus on.
  4. What would you do differently next time?
    • I would definitely incorporate statistics, diagrams, and even quotes to keep my audience more engaged. I would also make my slides not look as repetitive and similar, but instead keep the same color scheme but make them look different from each other so they stand out more.
  5. What did you learn that you might use in your professional career?
    • I learned about how truck drivers are super crucial to the economy and to the RBX business. I am going to be working in operations, right alongside them, so I feel like this assignment helped me have more of an insight into what they do and how valuable their role is.
